Chantal Hari
PhD Candidate, Climate Scenarios for Sustainable Development
Chantal Hari is a PhD student in the Climate Scenarios for Sustainable Development research team. Her main research focus is on modelling climate change impacts on biodiversity. She is working on developing a framework to assess the combined climate and land-use change impacts on future biodiversity on a global scale. Additionally, she is affiliated with the Climate and Environmental Physics division and the Oeschger Centre for Climate Change Research at the University of Bern. Chantal Hari holds a M.Sc. in Climate Sciences from the University of Bern, for which she was awarded the 2021 Oeschger Young Scientist’s Prize for graduating at the top of her class. After her studies she completed an internship at the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research WSL.
