Alex Kimiri

Alex Kimiri supports the overall Learning, Monitoring and Evaluation (LM&E) strategy at the Wyss Academy’s Hub East Africa. With nine years’ experience in program development and management, Alex will assess and share evidence and learning from the proposed innovations at the Hub East Africa solutionscapes, to facilitate model replication and strategic alliances for system change. In particular, he will focus on the impact of innovations on people’s wellbeing, their ecological benefits, and systems transformation.

A passionate pastoralist, Alex is interested in exploring opportunities for sustainable pastoralism in the Laikipia rangelands, and catalyzecatalyzing evidence-based innovations and practices that enhance nature and pastoralists’ mutual relationship.
